Our minimum charge is £50.00
Closed 25th December and 1st January.
*Please note, we are still caring for cats during these periods, just no pick/drop offs*

"My maine coon stayed for 2 nights. I was communicated with throughout her stay with photos and texts of how well she was doing. I was really nervous about fireworks making my cat anxious but due to the remote location of the cattery, fireworks were not allowed, and this reassured me that my cat would feel safe and secure. My cat came back home looking well groomed, happy & as if she’d had a nice holiday away. The cattery is superbly clean with plenty of stimulation for cats without being too overly stimulating. The fact that theres not loads of pens reassures me that the small family team can provide sufficient care and attention to all the fur babies. Will deffo rebook."

"At this brand new cattery I had the privilege of my boy Charlie being their first guest. Luxury without exception and the attention to detail for our precious pussycat is next to none.
There is plenty of equipment for Charlie to play, hide and explore. Lovely views for additional entertainment.
Made my house move less traumatic knowing Charlie was safe, particularly happy and well looked after.
I live an hour away from Cats Away, but this is the only place I would consider now.

From the moment we arrived, Donna and Scarlett were so friendly and welcoming. Their warmth instantly put me at ease. Kiki’s room was spotless and beautifully set up, and she began exploring right away.
I was able to leave a few home comforts with her, which helped her settle in quickly. Donna and Scarlett were wonderful about keeping me updated — they sent photos and videos showing Kiki relaxed, happy, and being thoroughly spoiled.I really appreciated how carefully they listened to everything I shared about Kiki — her routine, preferences, and little quirks. Cats Away is situated on our small family farm, in the village of Eaton, in the East Cheshire countryside ( just 25 minutes from Manchester Airport).
Having had cats of our own, we understand that they are considered as part of the family, and appreciate how stressful it can be to find somewhere to leave them that you can 100% trust. At Cats Away you can rest easy knowing that we treat all cats as if they are our own, and ensure that they are safe and treated like royalty 24/7.

Family Business

Run by a family team of 4 knowledgeable and caring staff with a combined 90 years in cat and animal care and 10 years of veterinary experience, we are here to collectively provide a comfortable and stress-free experience for your fur baby. We're passionate about what we do and it shows in our personalised service and the love we have for all of the animals here on the farm.
At Cats Away, we focus on personalised care by maintaining a small, family team, and do not employ any other staff or volunteers. This enables us to properly get to know each cat, allowing them to settle much more easily and get used to us for future visits.
We warmly welcome cats with special needs or those on medications (including diabetics), just let us know prior to booking.
Luxury Accommodation
At Cats Away we provide luxury high end accommodation with the most stunning and stimulating views for cats in our ICC approved pens.
We exceed minimum standards set by DEFRA and as standard our rooms are double rooms accommodating up to 2 cats from the same household. We also have family suites large enough for 4 cats from the same household. The mesh windows of the cattery can all be opened providing a large amount of ventilation as well as giving cats the purrfect 'outdoor' feel.​

Rooms with a view
Cats Away is set in front of a woodland and looks out onto the stunning cattery garden and fields.
This setting provides the perfect balance of a quiet, calm environment with plenty of stimulation and entertainment for the cats.

The idyllic views allow cats to watch a large array of wildlife from birds and butterflies to our beautiful peacocks and goats!

Playtime
Whilst each pen is equipped with a large number of toys, all cats have the option of interactive play sessions, an exercise wheel and activities designed to keep them mentally and physically stimulated.
We are happy to groom any cats, just make sure you bring their own grooming kit with them.

At Cats Away we pride ourselves on the highest standards of cleanliness. All pens and accessories are cleaned using veterinary-grade products and each pen has its own individual cleaning equipment to avoid cross-contamination etc.
